Darwyn, Wow!!! That was really fun. Not only is your reading spectacular, but the interactions with the bear puppet were terrific. Talking to the puppet rather than the person operating the puppet is an important part of the experience for the people watching the video. You nailed it.
If you and your parents don't mind, I'd love to share the video with my library friends. Is that okay? What if it gets shared on Facebook? Please let me know.
Greta, your bear was fun. Quite reminiscent of Wendy's 'Bob' finger puppet from our kids childhood :)
nice work putting the images into the video. What application did you use? I'm going to try and develop some training for my coworkers and the software I use costs money. I assume yours didn't.
Also, because taking pictures and putting them into a video takes time and skill to get right (it can be very fussy work), for your next one (?) you could try and 'spike' the table with masking tape so the reader can hit the perfect spot to fill the size of the video with your particular book. Then you might be able to avoid digitally adding the book later. However, let's be honest, Darwyn is the star, and I could see her just fine ;)
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this project. There can be precious little feedback for the work I'm doing and seeing it have an impact at all is priceless to me.
